BOOKING, CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICIES

Availability and reservation requests

  • All requests for holds, reservations, cancellations, changes to travel dates and payments must be submitted via email.
  • Please note that an availability request does not constitute a confirmation.
  • All bookings must be made via email. Once a reservation is confirmed by Sani Lodge, it is guaranteed.
  • The passenger’s personal information form should be sent together with the confirmation request by email.
  • If special requirements are not clearly specified in the confirmation request, Sani Lodge will not be held responsible.
  • The reservation will be reconfirmed by the “Service Voucher”, which will be issued once full payment of the reservation has been received.
  • During the high season (June to August and December to February), Sani Lodge reserves the right to request immediate payment of the total reservation amount.
  • Departures are available any day of the week except Sundays.

Payments

  • A deposit of 30% of the total non-refundable reservation amount is required within eight days of the confirmation being received.
  • The full payment is due 30 days prior to the trip departure.

Cancellation

  • Please note that if the Ecuadorian border is closed or unforeseen events occur that prevent the Lodge from operating as usual, this deposit will be applied as a credit to your future trip.
  • The credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of deposit. In the event of a natural disaster in the area, Sani Lodge will refund 100% of the deposit minus a 15%
  • Cancellation within 60 to 31 days 50% penalty of the rack rate; within 30 days up to 1 day prior departure, 100% penalty of the net rate.
