Sani Garza and Uturungu
We are pleased to announce that the new cabins, Sani Garza and Uturungu, will be available from 5 February. Both cabins boast beautiful views of the forest, which is a passageway for Capuchin and Squirrel monkeys.
Sani garza, known in English language as Roseate Sponbill, is a symbol of the Kichwa community Sani Isla. Its violet colouring inspired the Sani Lodge logo. This cabin is classified as a double twin, which is the second suite in the lodge.
In some cultures, including the Kichwa, Uturungu is the name given to the jaguar, which inhabits our tropical forests and is regarded as the king of the Amazon rainforest. Uturungu is our second family cabin.
We would like to express our gratitude to all our partners for their trust in Sani Lodge, which allows us to continue making permanent improvements for the benefit of our guests.
